How much does a 'joke' newspaper cost?
It's free to create as many custom newspapers as you want on this website. If you like what you have created, you can buy a printed copy. We charge $19.95 plus $4.95 shipping and handling (payable in any currency) for each newspaper you order.
How long does shipping take ?
We will print your newspaper within 24 hours of receiving your order. Often we print and ship the same day the order is received. Delivery is made in 2-3 business days within the UK, international orders are shipped Airmail and
delivery times are 7-10 days, depending on the destination country (US is 3-5 days).
I'm buying from outside the UK
We ship to all countries in the world using Air Mail. Delivery generally takes 4 - 10 business days. However, to the US for example, it has taken as little as 2 days and as much as 9 days. Please understand that this is beyond our control. We do not offer international express shipping (FedEx,
for example), as this would be prohibitively expensive.
What forms of payment do you accept ?
We use PayPal as our payment gateway. With PayPal you can use all major debit and credit cards.

What is a pdf file ?
Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) is a standard adopted by governments and enterprises worldwide. Adobe PDF is a reliable format for electronic document exchange that preserves document integrity so files can be viewed and printed on a variety of platforms.
Do I need special software to view a pdf file ?
Yes, you need Adobe Acrobat Reader. Adobe Acrobat Reader is free software that lets you view and print Adobe Portable Document Format (PDF) files on all major computer platforms. It's free and can be downloaded here.
Can I save and send the pdf file ?
Yes. When you view the pdf file, you will have a new toolbar in your browser. One of the icons looks like a disk. Click on this and save the file to you desktop. Open your email program, then include this pdf file as an attachment. You can send it to as many people as you like.
The PDF File won't open !
This happens to a very small minority of our users, and is not template specific. Please try the following:
- Check that you are using Adobe Acrobat 4.0 or higher. If not, download a newer version.
- Try opening other PDF files, just to make sure it is not your software that is corrupted.
- Make a small change to the newspaper (edit the text). This process will force our servers to recreate the PDF file (in case the first version was corrupted).
- Try opening the PDF file from a different computer.
CUSTOMIZING AN ARTICLE
Can I write my own article ?
Yes. To get started, select one of our templates and add the basic information (name and location). Once the initial article is displayed, you will have the option to edit every section of the article (headline, quote, and main text). You can make minor changes, major changes, or even rewrite the
whole thing !
What guidelines should I follow when writing my own article ?
The headline is about 80 characters long, the placeline (or 'sub-headline') is about 40 characters long. The article body should be approximately 300 words long. We suggest that you:
- Work with the text off-line (in a word processor, so you can spell check!)
- Cut and paste the text into the appropriate form field on our site.
- Go back and forth between the PDF version and the edit page in order to get the text just right in length.

What do you do with the information you collect ?
Nothing more than customize the newspapers you create. We will never sell, rent or share that information with anybody.
